Case Management
The Take Charge case management process insures that our that our
health care professionals provide early involvement and facilitate your
employees through the entire course of any occupational illness or injury.
When a patient is brought to the Leominster or Burbank campus we immediately:
 | Assess the injured employee |
| Provide written and verbal reports to the employer |
| Monitor the employee throughout the recovery process |
| Evaluate when the employee can return to work |
| Monitor the employee upon return to work |
Take Charge also communicates with company management, works with
the employer's insurance company, legal representation, physicians, and
other allied health professionals to effectively manage the workers'
compensation system and achieve cost control.
Take Charge:
| Ensures that the patient is referred to the provider most qualified to treat the injury |
| Selects the most cost-effective provider at each stage |
| Ensures that appointments with physicians or other allied health professionals are scheduled as quickly as possible
